Secretary, Stephanie Ahr

Stephanie has over ten years experience volunteering in the marketing communications area of the Texas political and pro-life arena. She’s been involved with Hope Connections Pregnancy Resource Center since its inception, and joined the board of directors the beginning of 2010. She currently holds the office of Secretary.
Stephanie received her Associates of Arts in Spanish from Austin Community College in 2004 and her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas State University in 2009, with the emphasis of marketing andadvertising. She works in the national financial services industry as a Life Insurance and Estate & Wealth Transfer Broker, and holds her Texas Life & Health Insurance and FINRA Series 6 licenses.
Originally from southeast Louisiana, Stephanie has lived in Texas for 15 years, and currently resides with her family in Leander. She married her husband David in 2005, and they have one son. Her extra-curricular activities include spending time with her family and husband and son, volunteering in the worship ministry at her church and spending as much time on the lake as possible.

Treasurer, Barbara Shannon

Barbara, an Austin native, has over 20 years experience volunteering in the administrative and finance area in both the Louisiana and Texas political and pro-life arenas. She has been on the board of Hope Connections Pregnancy Resource Center since its inception, and formerly served as Chairman of the Board. Barbara currently holds the office of Treasurer.
She has been married to her high-school sweetheart, Freddie, for 45 years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. Her eldest daughter, Shelli, also very active in the Louisiana political and pro-life arena, was relocated to Heaven on January 1, 2008. Barbara continues Shelli’s passion and legacy through her service at Hope Connections. Her youngest daughter, Stephanie, also serves on the board of Hope Connections.
Barbara is the Court Administrator for the City of Leander Municipal Court and holds her State of Texas Court Clerk I and II licenses, in Court Administration. Her extra-curricular activities include spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoor hill country at her lake home.

Board Member, Judge Edna Staudt

Judge Staudt is originally from Austin, married with six children and nine grandchildren.  Her desire to serve the families of Williamson County led her to run for office in 1994.  She has served diligently since that time.  In addition, she has served on numerous boards, including the Williamson County Jail Bond Board, Child Fatality Review Team, Safe and Drug Free Schools Committee, Agape Pregnancy Resource Center, YMCA of Twin Lakes, Central Texas Justice of the Peace and Constable Association, and Hope Connections Pregnancy Resource Center of Leander.  She is also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce in Cedar Park, Leander, and Liberty Hill.  She attends The Journey Bible Fellowship in Cedar Park where she and her husband assist with music.

She partnered with the Greater Williamson County /YMCA  in 1997 to create the first Teen Court program in Williamson County that serves any student willing to learn the Judicial System. This leadership program has provided defendants the opportunity to keep their criminal record clear of convictions.

Seeing the need for resources to address family problems, Judge Staudt created the Justice Court Mentoring Program which networks with local businesses and ministries to assign mentors to troubled teens in her court. The Justice Court Mentoring Program has served hundreds of students providing the support to finish school and make positive choices.  She speaks regularly to civic groups and students educating on laws and policy and has sponsored numerous programs to address the issues seen regularly in Justice Court. Judge Staudt previously served as chairman of the Austin Crisis Pregnancy Center  (LifeCare PRC) and currently serves as an Advisor for the Agape PRC in Round Rock.

Chairman of the Board, Gregory R. Terra, ESQ., M.A.

Mr. Terra serves as the President and CEO of the Texas Center for Defense of Life. Before attending law school Mr. Terra attended the University of Oklahoma on a three-year Army ROTC scholarship where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and was commissioned as a U.S. Army officer. He then served in Virginia, Korea, Hawaii, Missouri, and Texas as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Assistant Operations Officer, earning the rank of Captain.
In 1993, after leaving active-duty, he moved to College Station, Texas to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Texas A&M University. Mr. Terra and his new wife then moved to Virginia Beach where he attended law school at Regent University School of Law and earned his law degree and a Master of Arts in Political Management.
After law school, Mr. Terra served as an Assistant County Attorney in Williamson County where he prosecuting for about two years. In 2005, he left to form his own law practice in Georgetown, Texas. Mr. Terra lives in Round Rock with his wife and two daughters, and is active in his community. He has supported the Texas Alliance for Life ; he and his family are members of White Stone Family Bible Church in Round Rock, Texas.

Amanda Webster

As the Community Relations Manager for National Instruments, Amanda Webster leads an award-winning community outreach program. Webster manages a diverse group of teams responsible for the implementation of the company’s corporate philanthropy, individual giving and volunteerism, as well as sustainability initiatives. Through NI’s flagship Mentor-in-the-Classroom Program more than 150 engineering mentors volunteer over 8,000 hours in schools. As a result of these efforts, NI has consistently been named one of FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” twelve years in a row.
Amanda is married to Brent, a Williamson County prosecutor.  Together they helped start helped start a non-denominational church-plant in Georgetown, Terranova, which is now over 10 years old. They are both active in the community, volunteering with and supporting the Salvation Army, Capital Area Food Bank, Poverty Stops Here, and serving as a Shelter Hub Manager for the American Red Cross.  Amanda has also worked abroad in the U.K. with National Instruments, and in Honduras with Save the Children. They now live in Austin with their daughter Trinity and attend Crossroads Community Church.
Webster holds bachelor’s degrees in business and Spanish from Southwestern University a master’s degree in Biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
