I am still amazed after 18 years of performing fetal ultrasounds, that viewing a new life in the womb will still give me goosebumps! The wonder of seeing a baby form as early as six weeks to term is awesome, only an intelligent God could create such detail.

I had been given the privilege of scanning obstetrical patients at a high-risk practice earlier in my career, giving me enough experience to work independently for several doctors now at Cedar Park Medical Plaza. When Hope Connections Pregnancy Center was just a vision, I heard about it through my church and God put it on my heart to volunteer my gift as soon as the clinic opened.

I knew that showing a new mother the gift of life by seeing and hearing a beating heart would touch her heart. Patients who come to our practice and have an ultrasound, seen to always say, “Now I know that my pregnancy is real!” I wanted to offer clients at Hope Connections the same chance to see the reality of their situation and the wonder of life!
